Senator CANAVAN (Queensland—Leader of the Nationals) (14:46): Minister, the government's fact sheets on this agreement say that the EU can suspend trade preferences if a dispute resolution process finds that we have made a serious violation of 'certain labour or climate obligations'. Minister, why would the government trade away Australia's sovereignty and allow a foreign court to decide what our energy and climate position should be?
