QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE

Senator DAVID POCOCK (Australian Capital Territory—Independent ACT Whip) (14:37): Minister, I think Australians don't have much faith in big tech companies at all. These are companies that are happy to screw people for profits. I'm interested—if the proposal aligns, how do you ensure that the proposal then meets its commitments around water, around energy, around jobs?

It's all well and good to say, 'Yes, we'll do that,' but how are you actually going to ensure that these companies are actually meeting what they say they are going to do?
