QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE
Mr CHESTER (Gippsland—Deputy Leader of the National Party) (14:44): My question is to the Prime Minister. Before the last election, the Prime Minister promised Australians he would not impose any new taxes on farmers and small businesses. The Prime Minister has said: I'm a prime minister who, when I make a commitment and when I say I will do something, I do it.
I think the Australian people understand that. Prime Minister, why should Australians ever trust another commitment this Labor government makes?
