MOTIONS

Senator McCARTHY (Northern Territory—Minister for Indigenous Australians) (13:00): I seek leave for a minute to respond. Leave granted. Senator McCARTHY: With the deepest of respect to Senator Nampijinpa Price, we won't be supporting the amendment.

We've put forward this condolence motion with both the Warlpiri families—Mr Granites and family—and the Gurindji families and Roy families. We've brought this motion to the Senate in work and partnership with them. The PRESIDENT: The question is that the amendment as moved by Senator Nampijinpa Price be agreed to.
