QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE

Senator HUME (Victoria—Deputy Leader of the Opposition) (14:16): According to his own budget documents, the Prime Minister is forcing low-income Australians to pay thousands in extra tax and closing the door on opportunities he used to young Australians. Isn't it clear that this budget is nothing but a shameless tax grab which denies opportunity for young Australians to get ahead?

Honourable senators interjecting— The PRESIDENT: I wait for silence. Senator Hume, you have asked your question. Senator Cash interjecting— The PRESIDENT: Senator Cash, you should not be talking to anyone.
