Senator CANAVAN (Queensland—Leader of the Nationals) (14:46): Minister, this week's budget reveals that the government is spending another $18 billion of taxpayers' money on its failing net zero agenda. We know that net zero isn't reducing the cost of living for Australians. Minister, why did the government choose to spend another $18 billion on a failed energy policy?
