QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE
Mr TIM WILSON (Goldstein) (14:08): My question is to the Treasurer. Andrew from Parramatta founded a start-up. He started his business in 2015 and sold it in 2020 for $35.8 million.
Andrew, like so many Australians, said that the new capital gains tax regime 'doesn't interact well with small businesses'. Andrew said, 'Start-ups and some small businesses are a real concern, and the point that many small businesses have been making is valid.' Did the Treasurer endorse the Cabinet Secretary's position?
