Ms DOYLE (Aston) (13:59): On this side of the chamber, we stand firmly with workers and their families. We back workers on the minimum wage and the modern award and welcome the decision by the Fair Work Commission to approve an increase to the minimum wage of 5.97 per cent to $26.44 an hour and a 4.75 per cent increase to the modern award from 1 July this year.
