QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE

Ms SHARKIE (Mayo) (14:43): My question is to the Minister for Aged Care and Seniors. Greg has motor neurone disease with an expected 12 months left to live. Greg is approved for a level 8 Support at Home package but was assessed by the department as medium priority and so is expected to wait for much of the rest of his life for his package to arrive.

Contact with your ministerial office has been fruitless. Minister, what does it take for a dying person to actually get support at home?
