Ms ALDRED (Monash—Opposition Whip) (14:33): My question is to the Minister for Housing. Reports say the government is backing down on another toxic tax hidden in Labor's budget of broken promises. Can the minister confirm thousands of Australian women, including widows, divorcees and victims of domestic violence, will be disproportionately impacted by Labor's rushed changes to property taxes due to pass the parliament today?

Why won't this government delay this vote to fix this shambles of a budget?
