Senator CHANDLER (Tasmania) (12:08): During Senate estimates earlier this month, I asked the Treasury secretary whether Treasury had undertaken any specific assessment of how the government's capital gains tax and negative gearing changes would affect women. That question was taken on notice at the time. Minister, as the Minister for Finance and the Minister for Women, can you confirm that you did not ask Treasury to analyse the impact of these tax reforms on women before they were announced?
