Treasury Laws Amendment (Tax Reform No. 1) Bill 2026, Income Tax Rates Amendment (Tax Reform No. 1) Bill 2026
Senator GALLAGHER (Australian Capital Territory—Minister for Finance, Minister for the Public Service, Minister for Women, Minister for Government Services and Manager of Government Business in the Senate) (12:48): I don't have that information available with me. This is an issue that has been around for a long time. It was first raised in 2014 under your government obviously in another area.
We saw you get some information and do nothing about it, as is symbolic of that period of time in government. You got a whole lot of information about a whole lot of things, and you did nothing about it. Add that one to the list.
So this is not a new issue in terms of people raising it. I don't know that I'm going to be able to provide an answer to when, who, how—all of that—but I will see what I can provide if there is anything further.
