Treasury Laws Amendment (Tax Reform No. 1) Bill 2026, Income Tax Rates Amendment (Tax Reform No. 1) Bill 2026
Senator GALLAGHER (Australian Capital Territory—Minister for Finance, Minister for the Public Service, Minister for Women, Minister for Government Services and Manager of Government Business in the Senate) (12:52): I don't know that I can be any more specific than I've already been. In relation to the decision the government has taken, which was announced, I think, on Thursday—we made some announcements on Thursday last week and then announced earlier this week—my understanding is that the advice on limited recourse borrowing was provided from Treasury post the committee hearing.
If I can be more specific than that, I will.
