Senator McDONALD (Queensland—Deputy Leader of the Nationals in the Senate) (12:34): by leave—I move the amendments on sheet 3901 as foreshadowed in my speech: (1) Schedule 1, item 1, page 3 (lines 4 and 5), omit the item, substitute: 1 Section 8 Repeal the section. (2) Schedule 1, item 13, page 5 (line 1), omit "Reviews", substitute "Periodic reviews". (3) Schedule 1, item 13, page 5 (lines 2 to 12), omit subsections 43(1) and (2), substitute: (1) The Minister must cause a review of the operation of this Act to commence as soon as practicable after: (a) 30 June 2031; and (b) each fifth anniversary of 30 June 2031.
