Senator KOVACIC (New South Wales) (15:47): At the request of Senator McKenzie, I move: That there be laid on the table by the Minister representing the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government, by no later than 10 am on 18 August 2026, the following documents regarding allegations of criminal or unlawful behaviour on land transport infrastructure projects funded under the Federation Funding Agreement on land transport infrastructure projects: (a) reports from the Victorian Government received by the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government, dated from 1 April to 31 July 2026; (b) reports from the Victorian Government received by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts, dated from 1 April to 31 July 2026; and (c) notes of meetings held between the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts and the Victorian Government in relation to the reports.
