Senator DEAN SMITH (Western Australia) (14:04): While the government consults, the Albanese government is already banking $4½ billion from this tax but has not disclosed how much it will strip from charitable giving. How much funding will charities lose, and who does the Prime Minister expect will feed, shelter and care for vulnerable Australians when those donations disappear?
