BUSINESS

Mr BURKE (Watson—Minister for the Arts, Minister for Home Affairs, Minister for Cyber Security, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship and Leader of the House) (09:01): I move: That so much of the standing and sessional orders be suspended as would prevent the whole debate time limit on the motion to take note of the Standing Committee on Education—Security and prosperity in Asia: Building Asia capability in Australia through the education system and beyond report being removed.

For the information of members, normally take-note debates for reports are limited to one hour. On this report, a whole lot more than that wanted to speak. It's in the Federation Chamber.

This removes the one-hour limit so that members are able to continue speaking. Question agreed to.
