The TEMPORARY CHAIR ( Senator Cox ): Order! The minister has the call, and she's on her feet, so interjections are disorderly. Can we give her the opportunity to provide an answer.

Senator GREEN: The current arrangements allow for a conflict of interest to be identified and for an arrangement to be put in place to manage that conflict. The new arrangements change the way that the conflict would be managed. It's not that it's identified, but it would be managed in a different way.

It would be a matter for the DPP to identify what that conflict is and what it relates to, and then it's a matter for the Attorney-General to make an appropriate authorisation.
