Senator CAROL BROWN (Tasmania) (14:35): My question is to the Minister for Women, Senator Gallagher. Ending gender-based violence is a national priority for the Albanese Labor government. Tragically, women and children are still losing their lives at the hands of men who use violence.

What is the government doing to address gender-based violence, and what has it heard from consultations on the next phase of the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022-32?
