Dr FREELANDER (Macarthur) (13:43): For a quarter of a century, C91.3 has been much more than a radio station; it's been the voice of our community; keeping locals informed, entertained and connected. From Campbelltown and Camden through to the broader Macarthur region, C91.3 has been there to celebrate our successes, support local organisations and businesses, promote local events and shine a light on the people and stories that make our community of Macarthur such a great place to live.
Amplifying local voices is so important. The unique role that C91.3 plays in giving residents a platform to make sure local issues and stories are heard is absolutely vital. Whether it's Ally Redondo on the breakfast shift, David Archer during the work day or Scott Frappell on the drive home, C91.3 provides continuous engagement with our local listeners.
Their engagement with our community extends well beyond the radio waves with their road crew and presenters attending local events and celebrations from sporting club open days, community festivals and school fairs through to when we have terrible events like fires and floods affect our community. 25 years is an extraordinary achievement, and I thank them for all the work and thank all the people that have worked there, including my own daughter Amelia, the presenters, volunteers, staff and, of course, the listeners who have tuned in year after year.
Congratulations, C 91.3, and here's to another successful 25 years.
