Mr TIM WILSON (Goldstein) (13:48): Every MP should be aware of their own political mortality, and I can assure you from personal experience I know that better than most. So I congratulate with trepidation Archie McKay for being Goldstein's delegate to the Youth Parliament this year. Well done to Archie and to all the delegates selected to represent their communities.

We hope they have a ripper time in Canberra. I'd also like to congratulate the members of the Australian Rowing Team, the Rowsellas, participating in the 2026 World Championships at Lake Varese in Italy. Five of the Rowsellas call our community home—Hayley Verburnt, Emmie Frederico, Benjamin Canham, dual Olympian Amanda Bateman OLY and Dominic Frederico.

Finally, congratulations to Brighton Grammar, who pulled off four teams in four grand finals in basketball, soccer, rugby and football on Saturday for the APS. They are now the reigning premiers for both rugby and footy, particularly in footy because the team was undefeated all year. We're cheering you all on because we want a country that's built from responsible citizens taking responsibility for themselves, being able to improve their communities and seeking to achieve excellence and prowess.

To every one of you that is making the bold step, I want to say congratulations.
