QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE

Mr LLEW O'BRIEN (Wide Bay) (14:32): My question is to the Minister for Climate Change and Energy. The minister has repeatedly refused to say how much taxpayer money has been handed to foreign companies under the Capacity Investment Scheme. Today, we learned that CIS backed companies have spent nearly $40 billion on so-called social licence commitments, including cash payments, opening ceremonies and Indigenous artworks.

Minister, how much money have you handed to foreign investors under the Capacity Investment Scheme?
