QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE
Dr SCAMPS (Mackellar) (14:51): Welcome to Mila from Mackellar. My question is to the Minister for Health and Ageing and Minister for Disability and the National Disability Insurance Scheme. During the recent Senate inquiry, there were extensive warnings from disability advocates and state ministers that alternative foundational supports are not ready, fully funded or guaranteed to be operational before participants are moved off the scheme.
Understandably, parents and carers are terrified that their kids could be left without the supports they need and rely on. How will the government ensure that no NDIS participant is exited from the scheme until appropriate foundation supports are fully funded and operational?
