QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE

Ms STEGGALL (Warringah) (15:07): Thank you to Gemma from Warringah for representing us. My question is to the Treasurer. Migrants fill critical workforce shortages across Australia, including doctors and nurses and in agriculture, aged care, child care and construction, where migrants can make up 30 per cent or more of the workforce.

What modelling has Treasury done on the economic and productivity damage from cuts to skilled migration and working holiday maker visas? And which sectors or essential services would need to be scaled back because of worker shortages?
