Senator WONG (South Australia—Minister for Foreign Affairs and Leader of the Government in the Senate) (15:03): I can provide some further information in relation to the question Senator Shoebridge asked me. I am advised that the Department of Home Affairs have indicated they are not satisfied the applicant has a genuine intention to stay temporarily in Australia, which is a requirement of the visa being sought.

I'm further advised this individual has not been called to give evidence before the royal commission.
