Senator KOVACIC (New South Wales) (15:51): At the request of Senator Duniam, I move: That there be laid on the table by the Minister representing the Minister for Home Affairs, by no later than 2 pm on Monday, 7 September 2026: (a) all drafts and the proposed final text of the speech or address that the Minister for Home Affairs was scheduled to deliver at the National Press Club on 6 August 2026; and (b) all supporting data and written material prepared by, for, or provided to, the Minister for Home Affairs or his office in connection with that proposed address.
