BUSINESS

Senator HANSON-YOUNG (South Australia—Manager of Australian Greens Business in the Senate) (16:45): I seek leave to speak on the motion. The PRESIDENT: Leave is granted for one-minute. Senator HANSON-YOUNG: They are clearly in a rush to get this dodgy deal through the parliament as quickly as possible before the wheels start falling off this ridiculous stitch-up between the Labor Party and the Liberal Party to ram through gambling advertising that no-one thinks will work, by the way.

I know Senator Henderson is out claiming it was her great idea. The minister, Minister Wells, thinks it's her great idea. I tell you what, in six months' time no-one is going to take any credit for this because it is an absolute dog's breakfast right down to even the hours motion to get it rammed through.

It is a rushed, foolish, dog's breakfast, dog of a bill. Question agreed to.
