Mr LEESER (Berowra) (10:51): I say to the member for Warringah that we are reserving our position on these amendments, as we did with the member for Curtin's amendments. We've said all along that the bill needs careful scrutiny. It's a matter that is before the Senate committee.

We won't support these amendments in the chamber for the same reason we didn't support the government's amendments. Question negatived. Bill, as amended, agreed to.
