DISTINGUISHED VISITORS

The SPEAKER (14:20): I'm pleased to inform the House that in the special visitors' gallery today is a friend to many, the Hon. Dr David Gillespie, who is the former member for Lyne. I'm also pleased to inform the House that present in the gallery today is Councillor Gary Lee, the Mayor of Nambucca Valley Council.

He's a guest of the member for Cowper. Also present in the gallery today are students from the Beyond the Broncos program, an educational and mentoring initiative by the Brisbane Broncos supporting over 3,000 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students across 53 high schools in Queensland and northern New South Wales to improve school attendance, achieve year 12 graduation and transition into jobs or further study.
