Ms ALDRED (Monash—Opposition Whip) (14:55): My question is to the Prime Minister. You have now refused on five occasions in question time to answer whether you will cut the tobacco excise. This morning on the Today show, you dodged it again.

Why won't you give Australians a straight answer? Will you cut the tobacco excise, yes or no, Prime Minister? The SPEAKER: Just before we move to the answer, I didn't want to interrupt the member for Monash, but I would prefer you not use the term 'you' and you direct remarks through the chair, just as the standing orders advise.
