The document read as follows— Australian Government response to the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security report: Review of the Migration Amendment (Clarifying International Obligations for Removal) Act 2021 September 2026 Recommendation 1 The Committee recommends that any future review of the operation, effectiveness and implications of the amendments made by the Migration Amendment (Clarifying International Obligations for Removal) Act 2021, or related issues of migration, protection and human rights, be referred to an appropriate parliamentary committee such as the Joint Standing Committee on Migration, the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Human Rights, or the Senate Standing Committees on Legal and Constitutional Affairs.
