QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE

Senator WATERS (Queensland—Leader of the Australian Greens) (14:21): Too many women and children are being raped or killed by violence, primarily by men and, most often, by someone known to them. We've seen the reports; we've done the reviews. We don't need more ideas.

We need the funding and the political will to turn them into action. When will this government stop crying poor on women's safety and fully fund prevention programs and the frontline support services for domestic, family and sexual violence?
