Mr BURKE (Watson—Minister for the Arts, Minister for Home Affairs, Minister for Cyber Security, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship and Leader of the House) (15:12): I move: That: (1) standing orders 31 and 33 be suspended for the remainder of the sitting; and (2) so much of the standing and sessional orders be suspended as would prevent: (a) private Members' business notice No. 11, relating to the disallowance of the Carbon Credits (Carbon Farming Initiative—Improved Forest Management in Multiple-Use Public Native Forests) Methodology Determination 2026 made under the Carbon Credits (Carbon Farming Initiative) Act 2011 on 25 June 2026 and presented to the House on 29 June 2026, standing in the name of the Member for Wannon, being called on and considered, with the total time for debate on the motion being no more than 40 minutes; (b) the House then considering any messages from the Senate; (c) Government business having priority until 4.30 pm; and (d) any variation to this arrangement being made only on a motion moved by a Minister.
