Senator KOVACIC (New South Wales) (11:27): At the request of Senator Sharma, I move: That the Senate notes that, in response to order for production of documents no. 601, the Minister for Foreign Affairs stated that no documents exist that contain an index as sought in the order and therefore orders that there be laid on the table by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, by no later than 5 pm on 25 September 2026, the following documents produced under, or in relation to, contract notice CN4105976: (a) all briefing notes, file notes, meeting notes, emails, reports, correspondence and any other records generated in relation to the work undertaken under the contract; (b) ministerial or secretarial briefings in relation to the work undertaken under the contract; and (c) Budget estimates packs or briefings to the extent they relate to the contracted work.
