Senator KOVACIC (New South Wales) (11:29): by leave—At the request of Senator Bragg, I move general business notices of motion Nos 688, 689 and 690 together: GENERAL BUSINESS NOTICE OF MOTION NO. 688 That there be laid on the table by the Minister representing the Treasurer, by no later than midday on Tuesday, 15 September 2026, any documents, including any modelling or analysis, prepared by, or provided to, the Department of the Treasury containing information relating to: (a) changes in the level of private credit and debt in the property and housing construction sector since 1 April 2026; and (b) the number of insolvencies that have occurred in the property and housing construction sector since 1 April 2026.

GENERAL BUSINESS NOTICE OF MOTION NO. 689 That there be laid on the table by the Minister representing the Minister for Housing, by no later than midday on Tuesday, 15 September 2026, any documents created since 1 July 2026 setting out, or relating to, conflict of interest management plans or policies for the new Chair of the Housing Australia Board, Ms Ann Sherry AO, appointed on 31 August 2026.

GENERAL BUSINESS NOTICE OF MOTION NO. 690 That there be laid on the table by the Minister representing the Treasurer, by no later than midday on Tuesday, 15 September 2026, any briefings or other documents created by, or provided to, the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority relating to the number of first home buyers, housing investors and borrowers who have fallen into negative equity since 1 April 2026.
