QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE

Ms LE (Fowler) (15:07): My question is to the Prime Minister. Prime Minister, I doorknocked in Liverpool recently. Families told me they're struggling, choosing between filling the tank and filling the fridge.

In Western Sydney, petrol is heading to 220c a litre and diesel 260c. The fuel excise returned in full on 3 August, pushing prices up again under your government. With Middle East crude near US$120 a barrel, will you halve the fuel excise and take the pressures off families and small businesses in Fowler and Western Sydney?
