QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE: ADDITIONAL ANSWERS

Ms COLLINS (Franklin—Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry) (15:12): Yesterday I indicated that I would get back to the member for Farrer in relation to his question and that I would double-check with the Minister for the Environment and Water and his department in relation to the CEO of the Murray-Darling Basin Authority's comments in relation to the review and agriculture.

I can inform the member for Farrer that the answer to his question is no. I am assured by the minister and his department and also my own department that nobody gave such an instruction. I'd also advise the member for Farrer that I'm advised that the oversight will be corrected in the final report that is provided to the government.

I can confirm that my department continues to work closely with both the minister and the Murray-Darling Basin Authority in relation to the review and that my department made an independent submission to the review.
