The methodology is currently being developed. Further data analysis will occur after the passage of legislation, and that will be informed by technical advice.

The department already intends to publish this methodology, and the updated Medical Costs Finder website will also provide a plain-English explanation of the methodology, with a worked example. The department also intends to refresh data on a regular basis so that changes in fees will be visible to patients. Question agreed to.
