MATTERS OF PUBLIC IMPORTANCE

The SPEAKER (15:22): I have received a letter from the honourable Leader of the Opposition proposing that a definite matter of public importance be submitted to the House for discussion, namely: The need for the Government to be clear with Australians as to why they are worse off. I call upon those honourable members who approve of the proposed discussion to rise in their places.
