Senator KOVACIC (New South Wales) (15:55): At the request of Senator Bragg, I move: That the Senate— (a) notes that: (i) on 12 August 2026, the Senate agreed to order for the production of documents no. 573, relating to the impact of the Government's 5% deposit scheme on lending risk, requiring the Minister representing the Treasurer to comply by midday on Friday, 14 August 2026, (ii) on 17 August 2026, the Minister representing the Treasurer tabled an interim response from the Treasurer noting that the order was under active consideration and advising that additional time was required to comply with the order, and (iii) the order has not been complied with; and (b) requires the Minister representing the Treasurer to comply with the order by midday on Thursday, 17 September 2026.
