COMMITTEES

The ACTING DEPUTY PRESIDENT ( Senator Ciccone ) (19:03): The President has received letters requesting changes in the membership of various committees. I draw the Senate's attention to there being two nominations for the one position on the Joint Select Committee on Artificial Intelligence. In accordance with the standing orders, a ballot will need to be held to determine which of the two senators who have nominated is to be appointed to the committee.

I understand it is the wish of the Senate that the ballot be held tomorrow.
