Ms WATSON-BROWN (Ryan) (14:15): My question is to the Prime Minister. Prime Minister, Anthropic plans to build a giant data centre in the Western Downs, potentially increasing Queensland's energy use by 25 per cent, the equivalent usage of 1.5 million homes, therefore pushing up power prices. Will you legislate requirements for data centres to build renewable infrastructure at least equal to their energy consumption?

In the meantime, will you place a moratorium on data centre approvals?
