Mr HOGAN (Page—Deputy Manager of Opposition Business) (16:38): I congratulate the Woolgoolga Wolves on winning the 2026 North Coast Football Men's Premier League grand final. The Wolves won 1-0 in a hard-fought grand final at Coffs International Stadium. Tai Smith found the back of the net in the 99th minute to get Woopi across the line.
Tai was also named Men's Premier League Player of the Year and won the Golden Boot. It capped off an incredible year for Woolgoolga United, which was named the North Coast Football Club of the Year and was the region's largest club, with nearly 600 registered players. Of its 20 competitive teams, 15 made the finals, seven reached grand finals and four won premierships.
Six premier league players were also named in the North Coast Football Team of the Year. I congratulate the premiership winning team: Alex Byrne, Mitchell Brewster, Jamie Arthur, Weston Bodnar, Jacob Vidler, Liam Davidson, Nick Mallet, Tai Smith, Gurvir Virk, James Palmer, Adam Watkin, Liam Murphy, Fraser Duryea, Taj Bennett, James Gorrie and Jack Wujcik. Congratulations on a great season for the Woopi Wolves.
