Schedule 1A 1 January 2027. 1 January 2027 (2) Page 52 (after line 11), after Schedule 1, insert: Schedule 1A — Amendments relating to Table B providers Higher Education Support Act 2003 1 Subsection 16-20(1) (table) Before: Avondale University insert: Alphacrucis University College Australian University of Theology 2 Transitional rules (1) The Minister may, by legislative instrument, make rules prescribing matters of a transitional nature (including prescribing any saving or application provisions) relating to the amendments made by this Schedule.

(2) To avoid doubt, the rules may not do the following: (a) create an offence or civil penalty; (b) provide powers of: (i) arrest or detention; or (ii) entry, search or seizure; (c) impose a tax; (d) set an amount to be appropriated from the Consolidated Revenue Fund under an appropriation in this Act; (e) directly amend the text of this Act. _____ SHEET 4106 (1) Schedule 1, item 59, page 44 (line 21), omit "administered or delivered", substitute "delivered (by any mode)".

(2) Schedule 1, item 59, page 44 (after line 27), at the end of subsection (1), add: Note: For example, the mode of delivery of a unit may be online or face-to-face, or both. (3) Schedule 1, item 59, page 45 (lines 1 to 6), omit subsection (4), substitute: (4) An area is a high priority area if it is a Remoteness Area categorised under the *ABS Remoteness Structure as Inner Regional Australia, Outer Regional Australia, Remote Australia or Very Remote Australia.
