QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE

Senator SHOEBRIDGE (New South Wales—Leader of the Australian Greens) (14:16): My question is to the Minister representing the Prime Minister. Minister, wages are going backwards under the Albanese government. Right now, people in Australia are earning, in real terms, no more than they had in 2011, falling back to where they were 15 years ago, while people work longer, take on two jobs and see their lives getting harder.

How do you explain the Albanese Labor government's failure to increase real wages?
