Senator GALLAGHER (Australian Capital Territory—Minister for Finance, Minister for the Public Service, Minister for Women, Minister for Government Services and Manager of Government Business in the Senate) (15:02): In relation to Senator Payman's question to Senator Farrell, he has left the chamber, but, also, it is normal practice to advise a minister's office if you are going to use that particular standing order so that the minister can prepare to make sure they are in the chamber and that they've sought information in order to respond.
Senator Payman, I'm not sure—I've just tried to check. I don't believe Senator Farrell's office was aware that you were going to seek to raise that under that standing order and so has not prepared either to be in here or to have an answer for you. Perhaps, if we can deal with that matter at the end of question time tomorrow, we can see what information we can provide.
