QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE

Dr RYAN (Kooyong) (14:42): My question is to the Minister for Disability and the NDIS. Minister, the Victorian government is delivering Thriving Kids through its department of education, with allied health and support workers employed by the state and embedded in childcare centres and schools. South Australia tried embedding allied health workers inside schools some years ago, and that model failed.

Providers are concerned it's going to fail again. Your government has allotted $2 billion to the states for Thriving Kids. What assurances can you offer that critical early intervention services will be available when Victorians need them?
