DOCUMENTS
Senator O'SULLIVAN (Western Australia—Deputy Manager of Opposition Business in the Senate) (15:34): I seek leave to make a short statement. Senator O'SULLIVAN: The coalition will support this motion. However, it should be remembered that nearly two months ago, on 17 August, the Senate agreed to two motions from Senator Duniam seeking precisely this sort of information about Minister Burke's migration announcement at the National Press Club.
The government ultimately responded to those OPDs, but it did not provide the substantive documents that the coalition had sought. Just as we did back then, we expect the government to fully comply with today's OPD. Question agreed to.
