QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE

Senator BARBARA POCOCK (South Australia) (14:21): Minister, rents keep rising while real wages under your government are going backwards. Record high rents are forcing people to choose between groceries and paying their rent. Ninety-four per cent of renters want some type of rent regulation.

That's almost all renters in the country. Minister, why do you care more about landlords and property investors than you do about renters and their dire circumstances?
