Senator KOVACIC (New South Wales) (12:10): At the request of Senator Dean Smith, I move: That there be laid on the table by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, by no later than midday on Friday, 30 October 2026, the revised Strategy for Abolition of the Death Penalty, referenced in the government response, tabled on 25 June 2026, to the report of the Joint Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade on Australia's efforts to advocate for the worldwide abolition of the death penalty.
